mission

In Search of a Song Productions was founded in 2006 to develop stories, particularly those of women, that express the cry, the scream, or silence which might go unexpressed but demands to be heard.  We are all storytellers, but we search for how to express our story.  Beyond introducing new solo works, ISOS is committed to incorporating, music, dance, and mixed media into theatrical productions which follow humor and truth to the dark, sometimes bizarre places where imagination may lead.

current projects

The Generations Theater Project aims to give a voice to stories that would die with the person who lived them while creating a connection between a younger and older generations. By bringing playwrights and other artists together wth stories that need to be told, GTP will create new works of theater. We are committed to the developing these stories, from interviews to table-reads staged-readings, and ultimately full productions.

GTP is developing a series of new plays, which will culminate in our first series of Staged Readings in November 2010.

In association with the New York International Fringe Festival, Generations Theater Project will host its first FRINGETASTIC Fundraiser on Tuesday, August 10th, 2010 @ Arlo & Esme. 42 East 1st Street (between 1st and 2nd Avenues). 6-9pm.
