The Kitchen Spanish Tango, is a musical satire that blends the taco blues with the dreams of escaping a New York Mexican restaurant. One-woman’s attempt to tango meets ‘an hombre’ and a guitarist in a world of tequila, music, and dance. When this dance begins, can she find her balance without breaking anything in a language she doesn’t speak? Will Gloria ever learn all the steps? Should she eat the half Mexican cake in front of her? And how many shots can the Chef do before passing out on the grill?
Showbiz weekly called The Kitchen Spanish Tango, "a seductive, exclusivley Mexican dance of grace... humorously musical and entertaining, carrying a message of persistence and individuality."
